BLUTEK is an ISO certified Company belong to Ingersoll Rand specialized in the design and production of engineered turnkey skids for service air, instrument air and nitrogen generation, both offshore and onshore. BLUTEK creates and assembles tailor-made skid units for adverse environments such as offshore, explosion-proof and desert areas. These include instrument air, black start and plant air compressors. Based on the customer's specifications, skids include:

• Screw compressors (lubricated or oil-free, water or air-cooled, and fixed or variable speed, with electric LV-MV motor or diesel engine)

• Dryers: adsorption, heatless / heated, heat of compression (HOC), membrane and refrigerated

• Membrane / pressure swing adsorption (PSA) nitrogen generators

• Air receivers

• Specialised lifting frames

Based in Italy, BLUTEK has a worldwide network of local offices, agents, distributors and service centers, which support customers from the design to after-sales phases of the project.

BLUTEK is proud to offer to any customer the most proper solution, designing and producing also the critical components when not available in the market. This makes BLUTEK independent and different from all the simple package assemblers. BLUTEK has obtained important qualifications and supplied innovative solutions to Oil & Gas and marine industries worldwide. Because of its recognized experience and knowledge, many EPC’s involve Blutek during the feed stage for defining the requirements of new plants.

History

BLUTEK was established in 2002 bringing together the long experience of the founders in the design and production of complete packages and critical components for compressors.

During the years BLUTEK has become the worldwide leader in the supply of engineered skids for Oil & Gas and Marine sectors.

BLUTEK was adquired by Ingersoll Rand on October 2024. This combination brings together two highly complementary companies with shared commitment to operational excellence, innovation, and quality.

Blutek offers comprehensive project management services, including equipment installation and integration.

Our expert project management team of engineers oversees the entire process—from design to assembly, commissioning, and start-up—while ensuring technical and quality management throughout.

From identifying the customer’s needs to developing a complete plan, from designing and producing key components to assembling the units, and from conducting tests to preparing customized engineered documentation, we manage the entire process seamlessly.

TOTAL DOCUMENTATION SUPPORT WITH ENGINEERING TOOLS

Our project management team of expert engineers supports documentation needs using the latest engineering tools. All packages developed by BLUTEK are designed with innovative 3D CAD solid modeling software, as well as tools for stress calculation, including CFD simulators and FEM software. As part of our research and development efforts, BLUTEK collaborates with leading laboratories and universities.

100% of production is tested following Norm ISO1217 and certified by any third Party inspection.
